Box-it is a video notepad, in that it can document handwritten notes or drawings as videos. Box-it consists of an object with which to build yourself, an iPhone application, and a video sharing website.
My main focus with this project was to re-think the way in which you can produce video content with a camera today. As a designer, it was also really important to me to introduce a physical object in my process. This project was a collaborative journey, I worked with a product designer on the box itself, a graphic designer for the packaging, and visual artists who used the app to create content. I took a box of a semi-transparent folding paper as a starting point. From this physical object, I then developed and designed a mobile application and a gallery website. The website was created using YouTube's API.The project won the Raiffeisen.

Final mobile application and object. The interface is still visible while drawing, it gives user a visual feedback of their actions. The final object is made of a screen printed, semi-transparent plastic, foldable box. Pencils, markers, watercolors can be used to draw on the surface.
